 Why Join Today?
Now more than perhaps ever before, participation in The Beth El   Men's   Club is invaluable to its members and guests.  As many of you   know, the   poet and philosopher, Henry David Thoreau, wrote a book   called Walden.     Now Thoreau -- not a Men’s Club member; had he   been, the book might   have been called, “Valden,” --- still, he offers   something of relevance for   our purposes today.  In his book, Thoreau   wrote that he had traveled "a good deal in Concord," meaning not just   that he had explored every inch of that town but also that he had        traveled inwardly, deeply, forming meaningful connections.  And that’s what the Men’s Club offers.

Each of us has a desire to make fundamental connections, to find a reason to laugh, to be enriched by our relationships. In this challenging era, where travel outwardly is limited, the Men’s Club very much offers the opportunity to foster tremendous experiences by traveling inwardly, dedicated to involving men of all ages in Jewish life through social, religious and service activities.
