What are my options for High Holy Day services?

Seats in our High Holy Day services are included in all membership categories with the exception of our “Out of Town” membership.

We are pleased to offer our members a variety of High Holy Day prayer experiences, including a choice of three primary services:

  • The Berman-Rubin Sanctuary with Rabbi Steven Schwartz and Cantor Thom King.
  • The Offit Auditorium with Rabbi Dana Saroken
  • The Family Service led by Cantor Melanie Blatt.

Accordingly, our membership dues are based on your preferred location of High Holy Day seats.

Must my child be enrolled in the Berman-Lipavsky Religious School in order to become a b’nai mitzvah at Beth El?

Parents of bar/bat mitzvah students must become members of Beth El Congregation at least three years prior to the event. We require that students be currently enrolled in a formal program of religious instruction, ideally at the Berman-Lipavsky Religious School or an accredited Jewish day school.

Can I get tickets just for the High Holidays?

Tickets for Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur are included in the price of membership. Our dues schedule lists the costs of extra seats for children and out of town guests.
