RABBI DANA SAROKEN PROMOTED
TO ASSOCIATE RABBI



This summer Beth El’s board promoted Rabbi Dana Saroken to Associate Rabbi, from her previous position as Assistant Rabbi.

“The officers and Board of Directors unanimously voted to appoint Rabbi Saroken as our newest Associate Rabbi. She is only the third Associate Rabbi in our 62 year history. Beth El has secured a person who emulates and demonstrates all of the attributes that make our Congregation the special place that we respect, love, and cherish. Her appointment is definitely one of the high points of my presidency,” commented Beth El President Raphael Kahn.

Rabbi Schwartz added, “We are excited that Rabbi Saroken has been asked by the congregation to become the Associate Rabbi, and she has accepted. What it really signifies is a long term commitment between the congregation and rabbi. The congregation extended the offer with hopes that the relationship that they have with Rabbi Saroken will continue for years to come.”
