Dear Friends:
As many of you know, a dream deferred is all the
sweeter when it is fulfilled at last. On September
1 I will travel to Italy to serve a small congregation
in Milan as their Interim Rabbi for the coming year.
I am scheduled to be there through mid-December, at which
time I shall return to Baltimore for a month and a half to reconnect with
friends. I will then return to Italy to resume my rabbinic service until mid-
June. Needless to say, it is something to which I have long looked forward.
One of the side benefits of this journey will be the chance to spend
monthly pastoral visits in Florence.

If by any chance you happen to be coming to Milan in the coming
months, please feel free to give me a buzz. It would be a pleasure to see
you. My cell phone works in Europe whether you call from
