Beth El is excited to announce its new addition. Room 4, in the preschool wing, is now the Family Room.  Formal and informal programming for families with young children including parents, grandparents, caregivers and special friends. Activities include play groups, Music Together ©, Boker Tov story time, Talk Torah, Drop Off and Drop In with the Director, Infant Massage, Baby and Me Yoga, Bim Bam Shabbat and more.

Monday

Stay & Play: A drop in playgroup that meets weekly. This is an informal opportunity for parents and caregivers to meet, play and have fun with their little ones.

Boker Tov Story Time: Rabbi Faith Cantor will lead a Judaic themed story time for infants and toddlers with their caregivers.
This class will meet on the first Monday of every month beginning Monday, November 7. (Also Mondays, December 5, January 9, February 6, March 5, April 2, May 7 and June 4).

Tuesday

Music Together: It's Groovy Baby Music, Nickelodeon's Parents' Picks Awards for "Best Local Music Class in Baltimore!" presents Music Together® with Bettina Leu, an internationally recognized early childhood music and movement program for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergartners, and the adults who love them. Each child participates at his or her own developmental level in singing, moving, chanting, listening, observing, rolling balls, or exploring musical instruments. We welcome the whole family to join in this important family music experience and any caregiver—parents, grandparents, nanny—can bring the child(ren) to class. Not only is it educational, it’s fun!

Tuition includes:
* A beautifully illustrated book and a professionally recorded CD (2 copies) of the class activities: songs, rhythm chants, "play-along" music, and tonal and rhythm patterns - a different song collection for each semester (rotated over three years).
*DVD for parents and caregivers - An informative and insightful parent education DVD based on extensive and detailed research (given to first time families).
*Tuesdays, 9:30 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. beginning Tuesday, October 4 for 11 consecutive weeks/ registration still being accepted

Talk Torah: A drop in class with Rabbi Faith Cantor, Topics will include: Jewish parenting,- more than guilt; Talking to your children about God; Christmas with Grandparents; Bringing Judaism alive for young children; pre-Pesach workshop.
This class will meet on the third Tuesday of every month beginning Tuesday October 18.  (Also Tuesdays; November 15, December 20, January 17, February 21, March 20, April 17 and May 15).

Wednesday

Baby and Me Yoga: Bring your baby with you to regain your strength and energy after childbirth. Enjoy the community of other babies with their caregivers in a comfortable and accommodating setting. Baby and Me Yoga is designed for newborns to crawlers.
Wednesdays, 9:15 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. (October, 19, 26 and November 2 and 9).
Cost: $45/Beth El members and Preschool families, $50/non- members.

Thursday:

Drop Off & Drop In: Drop your child off and enjoy an informal get together with Ilene Vogelstein, the Director of Beth El’s Early Childhood Programs. This is an opportunity to ask questions, share thoughts and learn new parenting skills and techniques.
This get together meets on the fourth Thursday of the month beginning October 27 (also Thursday, November 17, December 22, January 26, February 23, March 22, April 26 and May 24).

Infant Massage: Bond and exercise with your baby. This class is led by a certified infant massage instructor. Infants 3 weeks to crawling are welcome.
Thursdays, 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. or 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m
Beginning October 27 (Also Thursday November 3, 10, 17).

Cost: $45 Beth El members and Preschool families, $50/non members

 Friday:

Bim Bam Shabbat: Enjoy a pre-Shabbat celebration with your infant, toddler or preschooler. Welcome Shabbat Beth El style, with songs, blessings and much more! Parents, grandparents, special friends and caregivers are welcome!
Fridays, 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
Beginning: October, 28.
No charge.
